shaeka8 1 Posted July 25, 2012 Hey there, I have downloaded the Arma2 set of steam just to play Day Z mod. But to my dissapoinment, when I installed the mod and was giddy to play, this occured.data file to short 'c:\program files\steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\addons\anims_e.pbo'.Expected 42294311 B, got 15728640 BI have traveled to hell and back and still have found no fix...Am I the only unlucky person in the world to have this error?Please help me fix this...I have tried launching it using the Six launcher and also manually installed it, and to no avail...still broken.Please find a cure for this..because I do not know how many DayZ I can go without playing this game. T.G. 48 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) Same issues with various addons files: expected ... got ...I guess I will try to reverify through steam. I was playing fine until I exited out of six launcher and restarted, since then neither six launcher nor steam will start the game.Update: reveified cache through steam and I think it updated either way working now and happily I did not have to reinstall game, gl.
