Error when connecting to any server:

"Cannot open file 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\expansion\addons\weapons_e.pbo"

How do I get around/fix this error?

Second time playing too. All servers display the same error upon my attempting to join them.

had the same problem, I was playing fine one second, log out, try to log back in 15 min later and kicked. Try to join in and get some weird error message about weapons_e.pbo missing. Then I noticed Steam updating something, and it turns out to be arma OA. Wait for it to finish, now I get kicked from every server instantly when I get in.

There's another active thread about this. We need to find a workaround.

Same thing for me but i think it's because ARMA II OA is being updated on steam, hope this helps

Same... steam started that update automaticly. I stoped it, but now i have the same prob
