Is it possible to use normal MP5 ammo in MP5sd?? Normaly it should be.

If, how can i change the ammo?

Unfortunatly you can't use standard ammo in surpressed weapons in Arma II. That's pretty much ridiculous in a military "simulation".

Problem is that non-SD ammo is marked as "Not SD" in it's in-game properties, so they're not silent to the AIs.

This is a problem with the MP5SD because in real life it uses normal 9x19mm ammunition. (I find it strange that I need special MP5 SD mags)

It's fine for me with other guns such as the M4A1 CCO SD though, because a gun with a suppressor and supersonic ammo is still loud. So technically, loading supersonic ammo in a gun with a suppressor won't get you a silent gun... (Although it would be nice if you could load them in DayZ but have the same or a bit less aggro range as a none suppressed counter-part)

No its not, all real silenced, not just supressed guns except the MP5 use a lighter breech and receiver and weaker springs for subsonic ammunition... you cant just put full load ammunition in there without detroying the gun.

Ok, thx for your clear answer.

It´s really funny that "the" military simulation ArmA 2 missed it. :exclamation:
