Running this game terribly

In Arma2/Dayz, I get a kinda low framerate, and when I'm in major cities I get about a solid 10 fps.

I have all my settings on low, video memory to default, post processing off, etc.

Can anyone tell what my computer is lacking?

So here's my specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon™ II X2 250 Processor

RAM: 12 GB

OS: Windows 7

Video Card: GeForce 8800 GTS 512

HDD: 1TB

Edit: And yes, my drivers are up to date.

Processor and graphics card need to be replaced an i5 core 2500K an a 560ti would be ideal, that's the set up i use for my dayz

Okay, yeah that's what I figured. The graphics and processor are a bit out of date.
