logging out precaution

So I killed two ppl that killed my buddy and looted their body in cherno nice gear and all waited like 5 minutes and logged out because i know there is bugs and ive lost gear before to just logging out my question is there a timer or some sort of measure that makes you lose gear youve collected in an allotated time

I remember in the old versions there was a thing in the debug window that said ''Saved (True/False)'' and it said how many seconds since the last save was done. So I imagine that the game saves the character every other minute.
