davidecibel 55 Posted July 25, 2012 does anyone know at what time servers go from night to dawn/day and from day to dusk/night?
zython (DayZ) 196 Posted July 25, 2012 This is different for every server.

joeasyrida 8 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) You can look in the Day Z commander lancher for what timezone the server is and filter or day and night. You can also pick up a watch or look at the suns position in the sky. The game runs on a 24 hour clock and the moon phases corraspond with the moon in the sky. 2ugly 12 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) Greenwich Mean Time and Universal Time Coordinated (GMT or UTC) is usually identified in the server name. +X or -X signifies the hours ahead or behind. Not sure if they keep up on this but it is usually a good way to tell what time it is on the server. They'll probably include this info on the server browser at some point according to what the server reports rather than what a server admin typed into the name description. Then again maybe not seeing as how a 3rd party has to write software to make info available that should be included in the ingame browser. But typical. DayZPvP.com 143 Posted July 25, 2012 You have to be careful because a lot of servers lag and if they haven't been restarted in a while the time will be off.
M O N S T E R 599 Posted July 25, 2012 Some server admins also restart the server just to bring it back to daylight - it gets confusing.-MONSTER
