Where I think firewood should spawn

In the forest there are fallen trees, so with or without a hatchet, that's a good spot to get firewood.

In pretty much every town/city/anything there is always a house with firewood stacked in behind it.

And now a question: Does standing around barrel fires in cities make your temperature better? Also where do those barrels spawn if they do?

I don't think you should get firewood from a fallen tree, but I think you should get sticks or a band of sticks or something small from it so you can light a fire but it will only last like 1min or somethin.

Maybe stick piles like the loot piles we've got now, but out in the woods? Plus fallen trees, and regular ol' trees. Unsure if adding that many more interactable objects will have an effect on performance.
