Dayz won't run.

Recommended Posts

Okay so, I've done all of the stuff for the Six Launcher install of Dayz. I have Arma 2 Combined operations and have ran it and all that in windowed mode only, so my problem is that when I try to play Dayz or launch Arma 2 or Combined Operations or Operation Arrowhead, my monitor comes up with a message, not the computer, the computer monitor, I know this because its different between different monitors, with a message saying something about the video mode not being supported, or available, or something like that, I tried switching monitors with no results. Would this be because I'm not using a graphics card? Here's my specs. And I'm using windows seven.

Processor: AMD A6-3670 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.70 GHz

Ram: 4 Gigabytes

Terabyte hard drive

Sorry, kinda noob about computer stuff...

Just to clarify, It works in windowed mode, but dayz servers won't work and when i launch with six launcher it opens in full screen, which doesn't work, and when I try to launch Arma 2, Operation Arrowhead, Or combined operations in full screen, it doesn't work.

I figured out my problem, if anyone else has a similar problem, I can try to help you.

Try the manual install route, it seemed to start working after I installed the arma 2 beta and then put it in the arma 2 operation arrowhead file and renamed it to match arma 2 operation arrowhead, remember to rename Operation arrowhead something to help you remember that it is the correct/origional one. If that doesn't help I'll check out the other stuff that I did and tell all of you.

So, I haven't gotten a reply since I try'd to help, not sure if that's a good thing. Can anyone who had the same problem as me confirm that that was the solution to the problem? Thanks.
