Microprocessor 2.00 GHz Intel Centrino Processor Technology featuring Intel Core2 Duo Processor T6400

Video Graphics

NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS NB9M GE

Video Memory Up to 2302MB (512MB dedicated)

Other Game's i play daily with NO LAGG.

- Diablo 3

- League of Legendds

- Smite

- Minecraft

- Age of Empires

- Modern Warfare 2

I have recently just purchased the Arma 2 Package, so that i could join along friends in playing DayZ. And everytime i join a good ping , fresh server i can't walk 2 feet without a MASSIVE delay (lagg). And ultimately i just can't play DayZ at all because this lagg is intense and i can't really even move, or look around.

What i have done to try and fix this :

My Ingame Video Settings are the same as :

I REALLY wanna play DayZ badly, and i need your guys help to try and fix this.

Post any idea's you may have that worked for you, anythin.

It is a pretty low spec laptop. With a GPU that is below the minimum specifications of Arma, and a pretty weak CPU.

You will need a new laptop, or just a semi cheap desktop.

The Arma is deceptively demanding, despite not looking great. It is busy doing stuff you won't notice.

Your graphics are set to "very high". Try bumping it down a few notches. Try "normal" or even "low" and see what FPS you get. You may find that the other games you listed did a better job of automatically detecting your hardware.

are you using 6 Launcher? I found that it was causing my PC to lag a lot. I think it is trying to test ping times to all the Dayz servers and can cause problems. Try stopping it once you have connected to a server.

It's a very demanding game. I don't think your issues are latency related—as an above poster mentioned your computer is basically at/just below min specs.

That being said:

Lower your resolution and disable shadows, post processing, anti aliasing. Drop viewable distance as low as you can, disable vsync and see where that gets you. If you're running at the lowest settings possible and still can't play I'm afraid an upgrade will be necessary. Good luck!

I'm not seeing what is wrong with my computer i have even upgraded it, and doubled the capable ram size from 4GB to 8GB.

So im not sure waht you are talking about completely when u say " minimum specs " what is low?

Man I have the same problem and I have been working on it since buying the game. Basically, until they either optimize the game a bit more you are stuck having to tweak settings until you find the best possible set up. There are also other things you can do such as a

or the fps increase mod. These might help out a bit.
