PC crashed and broke my leg?

Hi

I'm new to DayZ and got a few hours in on my current life. My computer crashed while I was out walking in a forest, no idea where, I relogged as soon as PC booted and the game stated bottom left that I had died (no death screen however), I was respawned infront of my loot and backpack which was all on the ground, I picked it all up and noticed that my leg was now broken :( .

Is this working as intended and is morphine the only thing to cure the broken leg?

Wait so you were walking your PC through a forest on a wagon and it crashed into you and broke your legs?

Problem sorted itself, on the next relog (next irl day), leg was no longer broken. Yay!
