Fraps, and dayz. question.

Recommended Posts

Ok so me and a pal are about to start a dayz series with some footage we've record and are about to record. and i got the quality up to pretty good. but it seems it keeps recording my interface smaller as u can see in the video, my interface isnt on the edge but in the middle of the screen.

My fraps settings:

video capture settins are full size, anf 100 fps.

record win7 sound, and external recording. in stereo.

loop buffer lenght 30 seconds (Not sure what this does)

any insight? im using a self payed licensed fraps version. 3.4.6 build 13747

Thanks for the feedback.

Mind you the video is just a test.

I might be wrong, in your case, but my friend had the same side-borers with his footage when he was FRAPSing the game in windowed-mode. Going fullscreen would give a fullsized image.

What do you use to edit with? :]

Experimenting with sequence set-up and render settings will get you the best quality footage when you put it onto YT

after over 15 years of gaming this weekend we decided to join the youtube bandwagon. Currently im not editing yet, that short clip was just opened with win movie maker and saved to Mwv for compression. im utterly bad at video stuff, and plan to learn along the way. Im creative, and good at games, but shit at this video stuff. ill just keep throwing questions out there, and eventually learn it by messing up. and learning from it.

Also im running full screen mode, however i do have 2 monitors.
