Pat_the_Bunny 4 Posted May 22, 2012 Here's a few things I've thought of during my two days of playing this mod:Camelbacks - I haven't played since the 1.5.8 update, but I know water was a pain to come by if you weren't in the coast. Sure, I had a map and could see all the wells, but more often than not they were dry wells, and ponds were useless. This got me thinking it would be nice to have camelbacks introduced into the game; one (possibly two) inventory slot(s) for 3-5 drinks of water. Yes, I'm aware the update fixed the pond issues, and no, at the time I had no idea you could rehydrate with soda, so the motivations behind the idea are a bit invalid at this point, but I still feel it would be a nice, and simple, addition to the game.Zombies, and how they behave - First off, I would like to say I enjoyed the amount of deadies shuffling around towns, and feel that any less would make looting a total cakewalk, but that's besides the point. The biggest issue I have with the zombies is they stop before attacking you, which makes it too easy to just back-peddle and shoot them in the head when they have to stop, so maybe have them attack while on the move, then take a short pause after the damage is done. This would make them an actual threat, whereas now they're just a minor annoyance. I feel the zeds having only two speeds, mosey and balls-to-the-wall-sprint, is something that should be looked at. If they hear a gunshot they should investigate, which would be the middle-ground of their speeds, before they attack. While investigating they would be more alert and thus make spotting the player easier for them, but it still give us a chance to get away. I have a few other ideas, but I'm sure they've already been addressed, so I'll end this here. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
