I have an answer.

If DayZ is a Zombie Apocalypse Simulator, then the DayZ forums are an Afterlife simulator.

In real life, what would the dead say if they could speak?

"MAN DAMMIT THIS SUCKS THIS ISNT FAIR WHAT DO YOU MEAN I LOST EVERYTHING. HEART ATTACK? WTF! THOSE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM REALITY"

People just place to much value in their equipment, they want to keep it, or they want to loose it in a 'fair' way.

With fair being everything being to their advantage.

People who complain are like the ultra care bears in EVE online, to afraid to ever do anything exciting and angry any time they are disrupted by the Multi player part of the game.

I played for 30 hours straight one day, found a Ghillie suit, AS50, and had full gear. I died to a zombie in a deer stand. Totally worth it.

The magic of this game is when you've died so many times that it just doesn't faze you anymore. ;)

The magic of this game is when you've died so many times that it just doesn't faze you anymore. ;)

and that is where you start to have fun :D totally agree with you, but i must admit, dying to a zombie would be more annoying than dying to a player :)

Dieing is the BEST part of the game!

You get the chance to do the most fun part again, to gather all the loot, sneak into towns with nothing but an axe knowing snipers are watching from the hills.

It's always refreshing to start over, a clean slate.

But some people consider the goal more important then the journey for some reason.
