Shooting from vehicle.

Me and a lot of fellow DayZ players have all at one point thought it would be a good idea if a player could shoot out of a car window.

So many times vehicles get ambushed and are practically defenseless, also cannot go on a offensive mission.

Pros---------

Being able to defend yourself whilst in the vehicle whilst under contact as you are simply a dead man driving and nine times out of ten you will not survive a fire fight if you have a car.

Being able to Attack other players whilst from vehicle.

Being able to attack and defend from Zeds whilst in vehicle

Cons-------

Very hard to aim ( like you are in pain and have shakes unless vehicle is stopped )

Need window to be down so less protection from fire (not that windows offer that much in reality )

No ability to use large rifles such as .50's/ No ability to use explosives/ ( Only small compact guns such as PDW/Pistols/Mp5s/AKS-74U's. )

I think it would be fair if you could only use secondaries. Other than that its a good idea.

Ive passed by opportunities to grab vehicles so many times because of the large, inevitable threat of being shot through the windshield.

Although, being able to shoot while in a vehicle wont stop me from getting sniped. It will however allow me and my friends to do drive-bys.

My main idea with this was more of a defense role when getting attacked at close range. Obviously i wouldn't expect being sniped in the face to be removed from the game. i mean this is DayZ its based around reality and shooting through windows happens every day " in da hood "

I think that vehicles generally need more utility than just helping people get around. Not sure if this idea will be too much of GTA style, but the pro's and con's seem to balance out.
