New player Dayz issues, Cannot login!.

Alright, so after my friend told me about this game and this mod, i watched a video and it didn;t take long to realized, this is the game i 've been looking for...for a big while. I liked it so much i didn't care buying the whole game and expansion to play the mod only. anyways, after trying in my own laptop to set it up (which it wasn't good since i got a Intel ghrapic card and on the Arma II screen looked not good and non-playable) i decided to go to my University Library, so i am here, the computer is perfect but now after alll this, i cannot find a server with the six laucher thing...i read that you could still play if you had a server number so i managed to look for one and do the remote search, i could log in and after i could even take a look to it, it said i died? and i only saw a peice of land, no trees, no grass just flat land, i tried again and i got stuck in the loading screen, i try with another server but noone of those since to be found.

I really love how the game looks. I wish it so much!. What is wrong? why is it so hardddd to get in?? and most importantly, how do i get in and playyy?

the servers are just really messed up at the moment wait till the servers load in a bit then try :)

Yeah dude, it's not you.

You can try and find a server on this list: http://arma2.swec.se/server/list

Find an IP address by clicking on the server you want to join.

Copy the ip/port and then go in-game to the server browser and click "Remote"

copy the ip address and port in the appropriate fields and click connect!

Voila!

Provided the server is running the same beta version as you, you should be able to connect and play.

Keep in mind that this is an Arma2 issue, and not DayZ's fault.. it should be back to normal in the next day or so.

Thank you very much!, both of you. You guys can have my beans :D. Yah, i really don't know what to expect, i guess is just my bad luck that i landed at this moment and time. Oh well, i guess it is what it is.. Cyan, how do i check my version of the game?

Yeah they werent down for long, just had to update and make some repairs i guess but everythings up now so, Enjoy surviving ;)
