More US 5 cheating

Sitting outside Cherno, looking for people preying on noobs, and I find a person just like that. He's got his ghillie suit and what appears to be an as50 or m107.. he's shooting at somebody, not sure whom. I wait for him to sit still, then shoot him with my as50. Direct hit. He starts moving around while I wait for it to register that he's died. It doesn't happen. He stands still again, I shoot again. Another hit. He still doesn't die. He goes prone, and I fire off 3 more shots, one of them hitting the other two going high. He still doesn't die.

If I was using any other weapon, I wouldn't make an assumption, but the AS50 doesn't make mistakes. I shot, I hit, he lived. Invulnerability obviously, and he's just hanging out in cherno trying to snipe noobs.

Yeah, US 5, like every other server, is flooded with scripters. We had someone teleport everyone to a spot and give out AS50s to kill each other earlier today. Afraid it's happening everywhere, and without a name/video nothing can really be done.

Incorrect. There are tools admins can use to track scripts that are used on their servers.

My understanding of the situation is that many of these scripters are bypassing that system so that the scripts used aren't being logged.

I don't know but at least one server I was on had an admin who had successfully found and banned a scripter.
