No Gun

I attempted to look for another post relating to this before posting, just for the record, and nothing came up.

I was excited to play this mod, even when I saw that I didnt spawn with a gun, not even the makarov. I experienced a great intensity when going through town searching for supplies and a weapon, surrounded by zombies. At first this seemed like the zombie experience I was looking for... However, sad to admit, this mod is too hard to go without a gun and I need help.

I noticed the newbie guides on youtube that everyone was spawning with a gun. So I relaunched the game, respawned several times. Still no gun. Despite the excitement of finding a crowbar and going Gordon Freeman on a bunch of zombies I still needed a gun. Someone please assist me.

Also on an unrelated note I was crawling acrossed the road a few times with one sight and sound bar showing and several times zombies that looked like they came from another town were charging towards me. Is this a glitch perhaps?

They took out spawning with a gun and yea I guess thats a glitch, I crouch run and they dont see me from a town away. Usually just like 20 meters

Yeah no guns on spawn. Just your Dora back pack,1 flesh light, 1 bandage and 1 unit of pain killers.

Hatchets do more damage than crowbars, find one. I jsut restarted my account and killed ~60 zeds with a hatchet before finding a gun.

There are loot tables on http://dayzdb.com/ if you want to know where to find what. It shows what buildings spawn what guns and how often. though just searching inside buildings you'll eventually find something. If you don't have any valuable loot, try hitting one of the big cities.
