Military Flashlights

Recommended Posts

For those who came across a military flashlight, how does it differ from the standard yellow flashlight? Does the softer red light not aggro zombies, or is it all the same? I only lived ten minutes after stumbling upon one, so I can't tell.

Normal flashlight is pretty much a floodlight. When you turn it on night turns into day for the whole island. When we tried to see how long the light goes I could comfortably navigate 250m away from the guy with the flashlight.

Military flashlight is seen from about 50m away.

Odd, it's how I turn mine on.

Obvious questions:

you sure it's out and selected?

Also, it's not as bright as a generic flashlight, move it around a bit, maybe it is on?

Only asking as some people may have missed the obvious, not saying you have.

Other than that, just check all is well in your keybindings and it hasn't changed somehow.

The military uses rugged flashlights like the SureFire M600 Scout Light, Streamlight ProTac, and Pelican 7600. These lights are durable, waterproof, and feature multiple brightness levels. Some models also offer red or infrared settings for stealth operations and night vision preservation.
