Hey Guys! Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I was wondering... I have a built in microphone for my laptop can I use this in DayZ to communicate?

You should be able to provided all your drivers are good to go, and you have not spilt coffee all over it. Caps lock is how you use it. Some server don't allow it I think. You need to set your chat to the appropriate channel using the period key (.)

It should use the one that is set as your default device in your audio settings, so yes.
