flat1820 3 Posted July 24, 2012 So I'm in Chreno looking for food. Turned the place upside down, no beans, pasta nothing nowhere. By this time my food indicator is bright red. So now what?? Met up with a guy with an axe and asked him if he had any food. He would only say if I dropped all my loot (I had a nice inventory of stuff, except for food). I told him I’d give him 2 of my 3 blood packs and other medical items. No go. I just wanted to know if he had food. As he got closer with his axe I told him to stay away from me or I'd kill him on the spot. I had a M1911 and an 870 shotty.Well he started to get aggressive, took a few swings, so I killed him with my shotgun. No food on him, he could have just said so and be on his merry way. A useless kill, I actually felt bad. He had some descent items, no weapons and no food.So I continue west from Cherno, house after house, the small air field, some deer stands, army tents, still nothing, no food. Some guys on a bus drive by but they didn’t stop. Saw 2 other survivors, killed them on the spot, nothing still. 3 murders now...My food thing is flashing. By now I’m thinking “Great I’m going to die because no food is spawning”. I also had nothing to make a fire to cook meat.So I continue west, find a light house, climb up it and left myself pass out and die. So if anyone found my body on that light house, congrats on the loot. It was a disappointing end by my own ignorance.I friend told me he saw this game a large psychological experiment. Run to Cherno or Electro and raid the super market while you have nothing and get out.Congrats, now you have a whack of food and a backpack.Go to Bolota and get a gun or just start running up to the NW airfield. 3 super markets on the way that have backpacks and foods.Now you're at the airfield....
