Is it possible to point the server logs somewhere else??

Hey Targett,

What exactly do you mean, like naming the file something different, or having a log rotaion system?

just so there stored elsewhere so the download is quicker, i have 100Mb virgin broadband and its already took an hour to download 2.1GB of my log file and its 4.57GB. I can download a full HD 3D movie at 25GB in less time

If you have full access to your server you can write a script to perform a log dump. Then you can create a task to run it every "x" hours to keep the logs a more manageble size.
