Looting Help!

Hey i was wondering if im just really unlucky or someone can give me some advise. Ive looted the northwest airfield about 5 times now on different lives and every single time i find shit. Never find anything better than a m16 with a grenade launcher, never nightvision, never a rangefinder. I have had better weapons but thats from killing other people and i think i have an idea on how to raid it at its prime but im not sure. Is it really to loot it after a server restart so im the first one there,or am i just jumping the gun a little bit here and need to be more patient. Thanks

Yeah the shit loot is left there by other players who picked up the good stuff. Then the shit stays there until someone picks it all up or the server restarts.

Your choices are either to farm or to hop. I always prefer option 3 and shoot the people who have been hopping and farming. Saves me loads of time, and get all the good items at one go.

If the drop %s on daydb.com are accurate there is a 0.11% chance of seeing most of those items you listed drop in a barracks. The chance of it being you who finds them is probably even smaller. Random is random. You'd have better luck doing heli crash runs than trying to get such low % items from barracks.

server restart, then wait ten minutes or so to let it catch up. but i hit the downed helicopters around the airfield. thats where the good loot is. after server restarts you can usually find one or two around the airfield. thats where the good guns are. and nvg and rangefinders. also ammo crates filled with sd and other unusual ammo. stuff for the svd and m107 sniper. as50s show up alot too. dmr is good. just look around after you hit the airfield. bound to be a chopper crash somewhere up there
