geertdevries1995@live.nl 0 Posted July 24, 2012 Hey guys, I am getting kicked from every server getting these messages:Please help! Many thanks,Geert
kiotie 23 Posted July 24, 2012 If you have the game on Steam, I would verify the files via the properties. Also, make sure you're running ArmA II: Combined Operations.Let me know if this helps!
ninjaholic 116 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) Seems like D:\Games\Bohemia Interactive\expansion\* files aren't signed by a key acceptable by any server you're joining. I don't know what version you're on, or what version of Dayz of the servers you're joining, but I'd do a clean wipe of all ARMA II data and start again.EDIT: Make sure you've got Combined Ops installed, not just ARMA II or Ops Arrowhead. Both need to be installed. If you've used the Steam version, you need to run EACH game at least ONCE. You don't need to actually play, just launch to start menu and quit on both. kiotie 23 Posted July 24, 2012 EDIT: Make sure you've got Combined Ops installed, not just ARMA II or Ops Arrowhead. Both need to be installed. If you've used the Steam version, you need to run EACH game at least ONCE. You don't need to actually play, just launch to start menu and quit on both.I would follow these steps first. If you bought Combined Ops, then you should have a .cmd in the main directory to launch it. Check out this link: http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=How_to_install_DayZ#DayZ_Non-Steam_installationHope this helps!
geertdevries1995@live.nl 0 Posted July 24, 2012 I've got both ArmA II and ArmA II Arrowhead, both are installed, they're not from steam, have run them both, but DayZ won't run :(
kiotie 23 Posted July 24, 2012 Download this and extract it into your ArmA II: OA directory. Try running it.http://us770.kiotie.com/files/_runA2CO_beta_DayZ.7z
geertdevries1995@live.nl 0 Posted July 24, 2012 Still getting the same error... :(
kiotie 23 Posted July 24, 2012 Hmm okay. Do you have the latest Arma beta patch installed? Also, when you start the game, do you see "@DayZ" at the top right?
geertdevries1995@live.nl 0 Posted July 24, 2012 I've got the Beta build 95248 , and it DOES say @dayz in the top right corner
kiotie 23 Posted July 24, 2012 Since you bought the games separately, you might have a look at this thread: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?101214-ARMA-2-CO-(how-to-combine-ARMA-2-into-ARMA-2-OA-and-use-together)The problem may be that you're not actually running Combined Ops, but rather just ArmA II or ArmA II: OA. geertdevries1995@live.nl 0 Posted July 24, 2012 I ain't getting too much information from that website either, I'll try reinstalling again, and maybe find an option specifically for Combined Ops
EvilGenius (DayZ) 0 Posted July 25, 2012 Start only Arma II. Not OA and not DayZ. Look at the right bottom of the menu. If your version there is 1.07XXXXX then you have to download and install the 1.11 patch for Arma II http://www.arma2.com/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&id=777%3Aarma2-patch-1&Itemid=20〈=enThen try to run DayZ.This solved all problems for me. The signed data and the dayz_anim issue.Hope it helps :)
