Unable to use iron sight/shoot in online play

I went online with a friend, and I was not able to shoot or use my iron sight. I was able to zoom in fine by holding right click. I tried it offline and it worked fine, I also reset my game and tried to rejoin the server and it didn't fix it. Any help?

Try "0" on your numpad.

Sometimes I can't bring ironsight up nor shoot with a rifle, changing to pistol and back to rifle fixes this. This happens very very rarely.
