Ever come across an 'unlucky' sniper?

Recommended Posts

Like, they miss constant shots? I'm not saying they're bad cause I will get slaughtered, I've realised sniping isn't as easy as a CoD or a Battlefield, but have you come across a sniper who's missed constant shots?

Was in Stary, heard nothing, cooked meat outside the tents on the barrel, was chillin'.. until I got in another tent and heard a sniper bullet fly past me. I saw the shine on his sniper rifle (or it was a shot; not sure) and knew where he was, when he moved or shuffled I ran out the tent and hid behind a toilet (yeah..) he then retreated? And ran away.

He had a massive advantage on me yet I got away. Didn't find him though.

Anyone else had similar stories?

sniping isnt that much harder once you know how far the guy is, its fairly easy... they guy that shot at you is probably really bad at aiming... or he doesnt know how a scope works...

It happened to me a few times. I've also just randomly been running through a forest, and see a sniper in ghillie sit proned infront of me looking towards elektro or cherno, can't remember. He didn't notice me, but I didn't have a gun. I sneaked up to him, looted his backpack, he had a grenade in there. I took it, moved back, threw it, he must have heard it fall or something cause he turned, fired 1 shot, missed. Then BOOM! And I got me a brand new DMR, poor bastard. ^^

I was on the opposite side of that once, was my first time handling a DMR, before anyone told me they where zeroed in at 300-400 meters, emptied an entire mag on a few guys and all my rounds went of way to high.

Very embarrassing.

The worst sniper that ever missed me had the high vantage point in cherno, I was at the construction site...

He opend fire on me with his DMR I believe, He missed about 6 shots before I managed to finally put a bullet in his head with my enfield.

Those toilets aren't safe, as I've definitely shot a guy THROUGH those portable toilets who was fleeing from my first failed sniper shot. I have had experiences with people wasting their entire ammo set and not hitting a single shot.

Yes, I've encountered a few snipers that have no idea how to shoot a gun properly and bullets fly everywhere near me.

Thankfully it takes some getting used to, to use sniper rifles in Arma.

My friend said I was lucky, or the sniper was bad xD

Well, I can't hit dudes on bikes (not motorcycles) to save my life. I had to unload 10 shots on this dude before I finally got him.

I'm at a dock, following someone who's guiding an unarmed player, but I end up losing him (It was night) and suddenly sniper shots came at me, my god he was a horrible shot! I wasn't even moving and he took 7 hits to kill me!

ranging can be difficult for people if they dont understand the mil-dots on the scope or have a LRF
