Why My Character doesn't save?

Hello People,

When I was accessing the server I played on, I I started as a new player, and all my loot which I collectes was gone (a lot of food, map, toolbox, compass, watches, tool box and a lot of medication like morphine, antibiotics and bandages) :( . It is not a problem to recollect it, yet I shall do it each time I exit game? Any Ideas to solve this problem?

P.S. I have a steam ARMA 2 CO.

It happened to me aswell, most servers will sync with the hive which is where all the character data is Some may not therefore creating a new one.
