@hive.c - What is it?

Hi,

i was told to only play on official servers with the @hive tag in the multiplayer lobby.

Now there are some servers (some i really like) that have @hive.c and @dayz.c and i was just wondering, if i should worry to play on them because they are not official, or are they just named differently?

Sorry if this is a stupid question :)

I wouldn't worry, the only thing that will happen is that you'll start from scratch with no gears and everything you get on that server stays there so if you back to a normal server the gear you had before you went on a none hive server will return.
