I have a serious active server in HFB but I can manage any server and it says that my email does not exist ...

Yet its mean that I have a server that is active

I ask the media and they do nothing for me ...

It got to the point where I could no longer edit my server settings through their CP. When I brought up the problem via ticket they weren't of any help. So I decided to cancel my service with them. Only thing was it didn't cancel, and I was charged $25 for the next month.

Can`t you guys open like a main complain thread about these HFB guys.. all i see is rage threads about their crappy service and what not.

PS : Talk to Vilayer and they will sort you out. Every host has it`s problems but some actually help clients instead of sending them bullshit emails..

PS2 : @Hidden_OPS. Do realise that DayZ server providers have strict rules enforced by DayZ DEVs (this is good). If you`re using the ACP thingy then they will restrict your options (i could change everyting 5 weeks ago, now is only has the options i really need).

This will prevent server admin noobs from locking the server, passwording the server, turning off BattleEYE anti-cheat etc, Reduce the slots so people can farm etc etc..

THis was done with a good reason..it sucks but...oo well :)

i can access every thing on my server just fine.... you know i came from vilayer because they are even more strict 4 line motd forced updates forced restarts. everything. And i had support tickets open there just as long as hfb a few even longer. Now that my server runs great and all the us servers around me do im not complaining.

Same thing happen to me.

I emailed them orginally as that was my first communication method.

They told me to make a ticket.

I made a ticket and they ignored my question and gave me the run around when all I wanted was my account working.

I made a thread and they denied they did anything wrong and still didn't fix my account when that's all i wanted.

Then they never updated my server for a week and then said it was because my subscription ran out....(they ended it early)

When I called them out on it with proof, w/ pics and emails they deleted the thread ( dayz dev works with them)

Pm'ed me and said what could they do to make it better. I asked for a working account and partial money refunded or credited as I missed a week

of paid service.

They gave me a credit of $10 for the next month which didn't do anything as they charged my this month the same amount.

They also increased my slot service to 50 which didn't do anything because the max my server has seen is 30 people and it dropped from top 50 ranked server

to worst 50. I rarely see over 20 people, it's mostly 4-10 people and it laggs like crazy, My ping went from originally under 30 to over 90+ now because of their server

i think you are just dumb to be honest. first hungfurball guy say they have not even moved any servers yet and that they were investigating another issue or something................................ an i actually remember the thread you bitched in and complained in. i was just a normal player looking for a server then. i remember a guy named hax or something remove the post. And they have no dev team people working for them. and if you are talking about adam then well i feel bad for you he is just a "forum team member" which are people who can do anything they want out side of dayz... that includes work for a hosting company just saying.

They did move servers, at the end of june. Dev team or Forum team, they work for dayz so you arguing over semantics

I have had some issues with HFB logins since the new site went up. For whatever reason it wouldn't allow me to login, saying username or password was invalid. I could seriously enter the same username and password and on the 5th attempt it would log me in finally.

Will do, I did put in a ticket for this issue, I found that the "Forgot your Password" link doesn't reset your password. I tried it several times and received the initial emails every time - the emails that want you to follow to a link to confirm reset. It says you will receive a second email with the new password - that email never goes through. It gets to the "Sending Zerglings" screen but nothing more.

However, the main "Request a Password Reset" did work, in that I got an initial email and the second email and was given a new password.

There is a chance that the correct one and broken one are swapped, I just know that one of them doesn't work.
