Battleye Version 1.165?

When I try to join a server I see in the side chat

Battleye initialized 1.164

Required 1.165

Updating

When it finishes updating I get to the loading screen but it just gets stuck there for ever! I left it for an hour whilst I ate and it was still there. Anybody got any ways to solve it?

Maybe try renaming the file BEClient.dll to BEClient.old

which can be found here

C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye. (assuming vista or above)

Then open the game and let it update

Or uninstall Battleye here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Free\BattlEye

Then open steam right click on game and choose reinstall BattlEye

I use XP, but I manage to find my BEclient.dll and named it BEclient.old so will test it out now, get back to you in a sec :S

Oh yeah, I use six launcher to lanch Dayz, is that cool?

I cant use Six doesn't work for me so i cant comment

I start it with the beta shortcut which i copied to the desktop

You presumably have steam running anyway so you should still be able to access it as i suggested
