Well i found a CrossBow today and to tell you the truth. finding ammo for it is hard but as i was finding ammo a idea hit me! why not make your own arrow's with the hatchet you find by cutting wood and using the hunting knife? Not a bad idea huh hehe

I find arrows fairly easily, the fact that they take up a slot per arrow is a pain. The crossbow may be silent but it's hideously slow, which can work against you.

I'd swap it for a silenced weapon, if you're trying to remain stealthy, as soon as you can.

Crossbow was my first weapon and first zombie kill. Can't fault it for keepin' the noise down, hense keeping me alive :)

You can get every Arrow you shootet back if you know how to shoot! when im alone i love the Crossbow and always run with it whit only 3 or 4 Bolts.!

I Preffer the Crossbow cause i dont get hit by Zombies while using the Hatchet.

Simple use youre time to Aim...shoot...get youre Bolt back! if you do it Right you need only 1 Bolt!

The Bolt is not in the Inventory of the Enemy!! it is exact in that Position you shootet the Body ;)

Really? How? If you miss and a bolt wont hit a wall then good luck finding it. Its impossible to always position yourself in a way that you can find an arrow if shoot missed. Anyway you cant retrive bolts from dead bodies sometimes - for example if you shoot in back and victim fall backwards.

I wish single bolts could be converted to pack of four bolts or something like that.

my only beef is that the bolts need to take up less space, these creators have a fetish for realism, so they were probably thinking that bolts can only be stored diagonally in your backpack or something which takes up lots of space. i know for a fact that you could just clump them all together and improvise ways to hold them, so at least make it so they can be grouped into sets of 4 - 6 arrows per slot

Well i use the CrossBow to silently kill players without them even knowing where it came from lol. not like weapons you can hear them really easy. I did managed to kill some player's with it than after that death get ready for Hate Message's lol

Sounds good in theory, but like other players have said this wouldn't really work unless something like a quiver was implemented so you could hold your bolts all together in the one place.

Crossbow best worst weapon in the game. As soon as they introduce a quiver/magazine type thingy for it the better... as for the iron sights... *shudder*

yeah the bow could be optimized and a quiver is needed. nothing against the idea of finding only one arrow but 1 arrow per slot that sucks. if there will be more enemies like the zombie dog, maybe even more attrackted by noise, the arrow might become a much worthier weapon than it is now.
