What is the U.B.C.S.?

U.B.C.S. Is a group of Mercenaries in the Resident Evil Series called: Umbrella's Biohazard Countermeasure Services. U.B.C.S. Was a group of people who were paid hired hands, killers, murders, or people who were on death row who were bought or bailed out by Umbrella to send into Raccoon City during the outbreak of the T-Virus.

What is U.B.C.S. In DayZ?

U.B.C.S. Is a group of individuals, founded by Ravin, Ebianbluefox (Blue) and The Hopper. A lot of people call assume U.B.C.S. Is a clan. It's not. It is merely a group of experienced gaming individuals who play DayZ and have fun doing it.

So why wear the tags U.B.C.S.?

Ravin normally always wears the tag U.B.C.S. Even before he started playing DayZ. He is a diehard Resident Evil Fan and ends up going to Anime/Gaming conventions around the USA. The cosplay Ravin wears is always a U.B.C.S. Member. Often referred to as 'Ghost' due to his pale white complexion and silent movements.

When The Hopper and Ravin met, They decided upon using U.B.C.S. Tags and it went on from there. Bluefox eventually decided to get a server of his own, allowing U.B.C.S. Members to operate and produce more functioning members and it began to catch on with other individuals.

What is the U.B.C.S. Goal?

Right now, the U.B.C.S. Has no goals or purpose. We are merely here. We are here to have fun. Sometimes we will kill people, sometimes we won't. Each individual member acts and operates on their own impulses and desires. Some of our members want to have the best gear in the game. Some of the members like to simply grab and Ax and run through Chenro. We play to have fun.

What does U.B.C.S. Expect from its members?

We expect our members to conduct themselves in a proper manner and be respectful to individuals so long as they are respectful back. Any members who are caught breaking DayZ rules or speaking in such a manner we might find disapproving way-- We remove them from the group.

Why does U.B.C.S. Not use its own forum system?

DayZ is in its Alpha stages. As testers of the DayZ Mod itself I believe strongly in using the DayZ forums and communicating with the members and DayZ staff. Any actual in game happenings like locations, tents, and various items thereof can be done through word of mouth, Ts3, or Steam.

What can I do to join U.B.C.S.?

We are currently not recruiting. Sorry. We keep a small squad of ten players. We will be cycling out inactive players soon enough to recruit other players. When I do this, I will update and post that information on this thread.
