I found a boat!

I spawned on the docks in Chernogorsk, and went down to the local Zvesda and firestation to stock up on supplies...

Shortly after this, still in Chernogorsk, I found this lovely boat sitting there in the middle of the streets. It gave me the option to save it and of course I got in... Soon another friendly newly spawned player came up and we started chatting, and he got in with me.

Sadly, though, as we got out we were attacked by a bandit and I died; My newly met friend was injured and I do not know what became of him.

I suppose this proves that Chernarus gets its share of floods/storms, hah...

Every time something strange happens in DayZ, I hear it get blamed on Hackers.

I think it probably spawned there anomalously due to some weirdness with how the vehicle spawnpoints were placed, because I don't know how or why a hacker would spawn a boat in the middle of the street like that.

I think it's pretty funny, though.

Probably the same reason they would teleport everyone to a specific location or spawn a hatchback and lada in NWAF to run players over.
