Cannot Join Servers/Ping Issues

Hey,

I've managed to install the DayZ Mod, BattlEye and ARMA 2 sucessfully - along with updating to their latest respective versions.

The problem I'm encountering is with my connection to servers; before joining a server I have a reasonable ping for close servers; but once I join the server my ping skyrockets ten-fold. I've forwarded ports 2302 - 2307 UDP and created exceptions for the firewall in Windows 7.

ie I tried to join the Dutch server at the top earlier (Ping = 46ms)

Once in the server, my ping leapt to 550ms and I was kicked due to my ping.

Any ideas what might be causing the problem?
