Dealing with zombies outside without a good gun or good aim.

Hey the last time i played the game i was glitched where i could kill and be killed by other players but i could not see zombies and they could not see me.

i decided to stop before i got perma banned and stopped playing for a few months.

now that i am back and the glitch is fixed i had to face zombies for the first time.

i was able to find the handgun with a flash light on it G17 i think after i started fresh, and soon after that i found a AKM with 2 mags.

can you please give us your tips for dealing with Zombies outside when you HAVE to kill them.

also can you give us some tips on how to scout for a house to run into to clear the area of zombies ( by that i mean should we just run into a small town when we want to loot run into a open building then shoot any that show up inside? )

aim for the head if you dont have a oneshot weapon. m1911/revolver do kill with one body shot. ak´s should too. if you lootrun and youre sure there are no players in the target location just sneak in. and yeah always deal inside with zombies because they cant run inside and you can easily pick them off.

the best is to be inside a house, but if you're really want to kill them outside use your m1911 or revolver to kill the zombies in just 1 shoot, or if you do not have a makarov the best is to shoot the head.

On the inside zed are ridiculously slow. Back yourself into a corner and line up for headshots. Outside is more difficult as zed will zig zag back and forth, making it difficult to hit them. With outside zed, try to run up a hill or flight of stairs then pick off the zed as they climb up after you. Try and aim for the head. If you don't have a one-hit-kill weapon use a double tap. I assume you're asking more how to get away from zombies as opposed to killing them. It sucked when I was first starting out because I didn't really realize how to deal with zombies. I thought stealth was the right method, but that just opens you up to getting murdered (easily) by other players, and all bets are off the second one of the zombies glitches and somehow sees you from forty feet away for no apparent reason while you're prone.

There are really two solid methods for escaping a zombie, or hoard of zombies, outside:

1. Find a house or any indoor building. Before you do this, make sure the building has at least two different doorways or is very large (such as a church). If you've got a hoard on you and you run into a small building with only once entrance, you've pretty much just screwed yourself. Even if you survive, you'll likely get hurt or lose a lot of blood. Anyway, once you're inside, either wait near the back or dodge around until there are as many zombies as possible inside with you. Once you're satisfied that most of them followed you in, attempt your escape. With any luck, they'll all get stuck in the building (where they move very slow), giving you enough time to hightail it around a corner and go prone in some grass.

Just be wary. Sometimes a zombie or two will still magically know where you are despite not seeing you run there, so just be ready to bolt and repeat the process over again. This is also an ideal method to loot various buildings that are near each other in a city.

2. Find a steep hill. Zombies walk incredibly slowly up steep hills. Even slower than you do. You can almost always lose them by the time you make it to the top, and often they'll lose interest after you're far enough out of sight. Either way, go prone shortly after getting to the top of the hill and get as far away as possible. Just wait a bit and you should be good to go back to whatever it is you were doing before the zombies got on you.

Both of the above methods are ideal because they deal with zombies without wasting a ton of ammo. Usually you can ditch zombies without too much trouble, leaving you to worry about other humans instead. Just stay near buildings if you're being chased. If you get out into the wilderness with a zombie on your tail it can be really hard to ditch them, and if you're hurt or bleeding you won't have any chance to bandage yourself up.

3. Zigzag through a bunch of bushes or bushy trees. By the third or fourth one the zombies will have lost you.

As for killing, run backwards, wait for zombies to stop, quickly take aim and shoot. You can stop completely and then aim or hold down shift to walk and then aim. Takes some practice but it's extremely effective if you absolutely need to kill the zombies because all the trees and bushes vanished for some reason.

lets say this guy has a really nice backpack and wep and you know for SURE you can kill him. so lets say you fire 4 AKM shots. he is now dead.

but what about the Zed? how do i deal with them or get around them to loot without being eaten?

See my post above. Lead them on a wild goose chase to buy yourself time to get back to the corpse and loot it.
