[1.5.7] Friend became permanently unconscious

Date/Time: It happened quite a few hours ago, shortly after the release of the 1.5.8 patch.

What happened: Accidentally shot my friend and he fell unconscious. The hourglass on my friend's screen was completely frozen; it was not trickling down like it normally should. We waited about 10 or so minutes and he didn't re-gain consciousness.

What you were doing: Heading northwest towards another deer hut

Timeline of events before/after error:

- We had just looted the deer hut close to that red dot on the map I posted earlier. We were experiencing some lag/desync issues.

- We began heading northwest to another deer hut when I looked behind me to check on my friend (who was wearing a bandit skin). I didn't see my friend, but I did see another survivour, who was holding a pistol and aiming directly at me while crouched.

- I quickly fired 4 shots from my AK-74; I watched the blood spurt out of the survivour, but he didn't react. He was still crouching and aiming at me with his pistol. I stared at him for another 10 seconds or so until suddenly he warped about 10 metres toward me and fell to the ground unconscious.

- It turns out that my friend had just turned from a bandit skin into a survivour skin and I didn't realize it until after shooting him. I quickly bandaged him up and waited for him to re-gain consciousness. However, the hourglass was not trickling down; it was frozen, so my friend became trapped in a coma.

- Suddenly, we both lost connection to the server, but we quickly re-joined. My friend still had a frozen hourglass, but we decided to wait. After dragging him around for a bit, I dropped him on the ground and waited while prone underneath a tree. About 10 or so minutes passed and he still didn't re-gain consciousness.

- We decided that I should just finish him off, grab his gear and wait for him to respawn. I finished him off with a pistol, but the server suddenly restarted for the latest patch before I could pick-up his gear. We both stopped playing after that.
