QAIS 0 Posted July 24, 2012 I get about 25fps in arma 2 oa in benchmark 1 and in benchmark 2 i get 44fps and while playing the game i get somewhere around 35-to much higher frames but in dayz i ony get 15 and lower and sometimes below 25 for a few seconds please help is it just the servers or is it alpha i would like to know if theres any way to fix this thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

blackfear1562 0 Posted July 24, 2012 honestly bro i believe its just the servers because when you join in your constantly downloading information from the host of the server such as zombie movements, your health,kill count, etc. but it could also be your hard drive because Arma more specifically Day Z is very demanding when it comes to your transfer rate if you could post your specs and your internet speed i can give you a better answer but i currently do not have enough information to give you a 100% accurate answer to your problem also i have drops in frame rates sometimes and i have a beast of a computer its a alienware so yea but um please post more info about your pc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Aftershok 14 Posted July 24, 2012 It does depend on the server to some extent, but try some of these settings;Ensure 'VIDEO MEMORY' is set to 'DEFAULT'Ensure your shadow quality is set to 'VERY HIGH'Make sure 3D res and Interface res are the samePut your visibility downTurn off post-processing and anti-aliasingYou could also try boosting your VRAM to gain more memory.
