Noob, need help getting it to work.

Hello, i have just bought arma 2 hoping to have a fun time playing the great mods that come with the multiplayer mode. However, when i try to hit the multiplayer button, it says its currently undergoing maintenance. And my friend say that he is playing fine without any problems.

Please help :)
