federik21 42 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I am not against pvp (no more, i acceped this game as a deathmach in a huge map where you have to eat and drink sometimes).Today, i was killing a lot of players, but one was unarmed.Sure, no regrets killing other guys, but i could just rob him and let him go...Maybe introducing a sort of penalization to those kills will make this game better and finally have a clear distinction between survivors and bandits (as I don't see it, survivors kill for not be killed and bandits kill because is their gameplay).Prerequisites:mechanism to holster main gun and secondary pistol (i can remeber that when we started with a makarov it was holstered, and your weapon is on your back while you have a pistol).fix disconnection to avoid been robbedPRO:a bandit would decide to rob you instead of killing you if he see you unarmed (he will still able to kill you, if you decide to run and he decides you deserve some shoots to get your gear, your backpack and main weapon will be on your back -because bandits don't kill for fun in real life-)CONS:if unarmed starting to abuse this, like stealing things from armed people, or human shields (!?) it could be a problem (but keeping look realistic to me)maybe everyone will start go unarmed, so it would stop the pvp at all (which is bad), but if you see a very nice weapon or a coyote backpack on a survivor, those items could worth the penalization price. You have to add another cons. nas4040@hotmail.com 0 Posted July 24, 2012 Why? Would you get penalized for shooting someone in real life if they were unarmed? No, so why does it make it ok to penalize people for shooting unarmed survivors in a game? Its part of the game and the game is to be as realistic as possibleI.E why DayZ let pvp be allowed.

vision1776 42 Posted July 24, 2012 no respect for people who kill unarmed players.I never kill unarmed players and I kill armed players only if they are acting like bandits or if they are a threat. Which means if they are armed and coming straight my way.

The True experience is to be as realistic as possible, to make it as if you truly do have to survive, DayZ and Arma combined realism, simulation, and roleplay. If it were in real life then you would obviously have people after the same things as you, its just how it is because it is what Everyone needs and if it means your life is dependant upon it, wouldnt you shoot a person with the supplies you need to live? And when i say all this, im not condoning to killing unarmed players, because i dont kill unarmed players, but its just an option that is there like it would be in real life.Heres your answer: Dont run in the open or the shore when trying to get to a city.If you keep getting killed running on the shore, obviously the thing to do it explore other options to get your loot. Try running to the woods and run along the forest line keeping the shore insight.Im mean if you think about it, there is many more ways to get to a city to loot. People kill unarmed players because the game not challenging beyond 2 hours after spawning. They don't attack well armed players because they are cowards and don't want to be killed. Trying to have a reasonable discussion about in here is as useful as trying to converse with a roadsign.
