I think I'll just see what happens tomorrow. If that doesn't fix it, I'm worried because I have no idea where the problem would be. I've uninstalled the game and re-installed the mods without success. The fact that everything was working, then wasn't, and an uninstall had no effect seems to point to something like server maintenance.
