Any other guides to boost FPS?

Recommended Posts

I have a Q9550 @ stock with a GTS 250 and 4GB of ram, i've tried almost everything to boost up my FPS. It averages around 10-30 or is it just that the Arma engine is just horribly made?

My computer runs arma 2 at 30 to 50 fps and dayz between 10 to 20 fps. My cpu is bottlenecking my gtx 570 but day z just runs worse for some reason.

I had this problem. I pulled up task manager and Clicked "Show processes from all users". My problem was Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service.... My computer should kick the crap out of this game. When this Pops up I lose all Frames. Hopes this helps.
