yeah i don't really like this idea either.

gps is indeed a bit rare and basically acts as a collectors compass, but i don't feel it needs anything more.

also, I'm not sure if knocking this idea for its lack of realism is really logical. unless you can put two car tires in a backpack and run 5 miles without stopping of course. ;)

Nope, nope nope nope nope nope... Nope, useless, if a vehicle was 100 meters away from you, you better be smart enough to see it, or else you don't deserve it, go into the armory for Arma and spawn a car, then walk 100 meters away, it'll show you the distance. It's not very far, it's like the distance between electro hospital and the office building.

as it stands now I don't see much of a point in the gps I guess the other idea would be to make it so servers are not allowed to show your location on the map if all you have is a map.
