Question about the Ram and specs for DayZ

When I'm not playing DayZ, I play other games. If I'm not playing DayZ, is the RAM not being used, or is it still being used?

The amount of RAM allocated to Dayz or any game is freed when you quit the game.

If you are alt tabbing between two different games then no, the RAM will be shared and persistent until one of them is shut down.
