Heli Crash Site

I've found my few so far, but I'm at one right now, and there's no loot. I know it's hard to find, but I've checked everywhere. Are the helicopter crash sites just a one time loot area? Or do they respawn when people get far away enough? I'm the first one here in awhile, but me and my friend looted it last night, I want to know if we could go back there and essentially farm it's loot, or is it done for?

as far as i know they are a one time loot area till the server restarts then it will move and you have to find a new one

Okay, the loot was an FN Fal, FN Fal NV, and a M249 Saw :D

They spawn their loot once, so thats why you gotta be the first there :).

Back rotor has loot, door panel, closest end to hull of the tail has loot - etc. just got to take your time man.

I found one by accident once and didn't know it was a gold mine. I saw only an FAL but decided it wasn't worth it. I didn't know to look around the wreckage and haven't found another one since now that I know more. Are they truely random or are they in one of several potential spots? Fields only?

Everytime i find these i get extremely happy, they seem to have awsome stuff everytime. They never want to spit out a camo clothes bag for me though.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon 2 last night in the same server....? The first was picked over and had nothing, the second had an FN FAL which I grabbed (probably shouldn't have, I don't know). It was dark so I can't be sure if the heli site was always way out ahead of me, but it seemed almost like it spawned out of nowhere. At night you can identify it by the glowing machine gun on the side of the heli. As I was running through a field all of the sudden a bright light appeared ahead of me and that's what it was.

According to the database files here -> www.dayzdb.com, the camo clothes and ghillie suites are no longer in the loot tables. :( I've been looking and hoping to find one for weeks and now I know why. So I guess the guys who have them already have a huge advantage as no one else can get them now.

I fount one earlier, it had just been looted though. Had empty tin cans.
