ShinySnack 10 Posted July 23, 2012 I have a pretty low-end computer.CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ at 2.2GHzGPU: Radeon HD 4650 with 1024 MB of memoryRAM: 3 GBOS: Windows 7 32-bitI can play fine in the wilderness with 30+ FPS, but in cities, it becomes nearly unplayable. I know my specs are really, really bad, but I've heard that some people with even lower specs get the game to work fine. I have everything on the lowest settings as well as the GPU rendered frames ahead set to 1. I'm using this as the startup parameters: -nosplash -mod=@dayz -world=empty -cpucount=2 -exThreads=1 -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\ExpansionMy resolution is 1360x768.Is there nothing else I can do? If even lower-end computers and make this game playable in cities, I'm sure there's some way to make it work better on my computer as well. Thanks for any help. caliban 0 Posted July 23, 2012 I have the same problem, but my PC is actually better than yours.Amd Phenom x4 840 3.2GHzRadeon Hd 57704 GB RamWindows 7 64-bitIn cities I only get 15-20 fps,no matter on what resolution and settings. I play with 1280x800 and all settings to low/ultra low. Also I close the windows.explorer and set Dayz to high priority but that doesnt help either.
rickyd1 1 Posted July 23, 2012 i think it can depend on the server you play on too.. make sure video memory is set to default. and turn vsync off.
