Mc Coy 0 Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) depends on which way you come from. i like to go to the nw airfield from the sw. odds are pretty good to see somebody if youre on a more populated server. my best advice would be circle around it, come in from the north or west side. wait a few minutes and listen for gunshots and watch the buildings. I know from experience a lot of snipers like to sit on the north end. lots of trees and cover, not as many zombies.on a side note. 5/6 of the last times ive gone to the airfield, on my way out i was killed by a hacker, teleported to and blown up by some explosion. hmmm happens every time im on a heavily populated server with gear nowadays. I have read of people keeping youtube and other stuff open on laptops, etc. while they sit and camp certain places. You are camping an area to the point of being bored...you have defeated the purpose of any video game, as they are supposed to be enjoyable. Pro vack 0 Posted July 23, 2012 First night of playing about 3 days ago. 2 in the morning. Me and 3 others arrive at the southern end of the strip. We split off into 2 groups of 2. One group heads to the west side of the strip. we stay in the south and keep an eye on the hangers. 20 mins in group 1 begins to sprint across the tarmac.Sniper opens up fire, but misses. they run behind cover while we try to spot him but no luck. Took us an hour and a half but we sneak up behind the firehouse and see him sit up. Was too late to save one of our buddies but when he sat up again we lit him up. Best moment iv had so far.
