Using parameter "-connect=x.x.x.x -port=xxxxx" stuck at Waiting For Host

Recommended Posts

I wanted to add the parameter to my DayZ so it auto joins my regular server but seems to stuck at Waiting For Host. If I escape to menu and rejoins manually via server browser, it is fine.. Any ideas why?

.

for example, my _runA2CO_beta.cmd looks like this

:run

call "%_ARMA2OAPATH%\Expansion\beta\ARMA2OA.exe" "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca;@dayz" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;ca:@dayz" -nosplash -world=empty -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 -maxMem=2047 -connect=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -port=xxxx %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9

I'm using Arma2:CO Steam version.

No problem when launching normally via Steam or _runA2CO_beta.cmd and connecting through Server Browser

Stuck at Waiting For Host When connecting with external launcher like DayZ Commander or using the parameter -connect=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -port=xxxx
