I play on any server, looking for someone who will have my back, not just shoot me when i find a gun they want

You spend a lot of time going to Stary and NW AF and you're not going to have to worry about your 'friend' shooting you for your stuff, the bandits there will do it for you. Best to look for a group. 4-6 people is a good sized group as you can split in to 2 groups of 3 or 3 groups of 2 and coordinate ambushes and distractions.

I've only been playing the game for about a weekend but I've read and watched pretty much every tutorial about this mod possible,

always play with a map open, and have a good understanding of all of the controls/mechanics.
