Baisicly it is providing false information.

These are the results for ArmA 2

Recommended: 2 GB

You Have: 1.0 GB

I actually have 2GB

Can anyone help me with this?

Arma takes a lot of Ram for itself. I'm not sure if you are able to run it with decent fps .. even on low settings and short distance.

It does not provide false information, you dolt.

If it cannot detect what you have, it will not tell you what you have. If it detects 1GB of ram, it will tell you that you have that.

If you know in your heart that you have 2GB of ram, then so be it. CanYouRunIt is a website designed to detect your hardware without actually installing anything, and matches it up to minimum/recommended hardware specs. It does it's job well, and has never provided false information.

I know my PC has 2gb ram because it says on the ram sticks :/

2 ram sticks plugged into the pc that both read 1gb on them.

Im buying new RAM anyway

It told me that I couldn't run Arma 2 on my laptop. But it works fine.

Also said I couldn't run New Vegas. Works fine.

It's a good benchmark, but it's not perfect.
