Zombies glitching through doors/walls?

Recommended Posts

I'm not here to complain, just trying to see if anyone else has experienced this and if sometime in the future this will be addressed. (i know this is still in alpha, so don't flame).

Basically you're being chased by zombies and you run into building and close the door(s) and hide inside. Or maybe you were already inside and zombies spotted you and you had to shoot and now you have a horde on you and you shut the doors. Zombies begin glitching through the doors and the walls and coming inside and hitting you (or even just hitting you through the walls).

Of course the zombies should be able to eventually get in so its not just a safe haven for a player, but phasing through walls is silly lol :P

The zombies are in the game as "animal" assets and not actual humans. This allows them to ignore AI scripting and shit. Or something. Either way the ARMA engine is not cut out for aggressive animals so it handles them terribly. Wave of the future.
