Replacing Arma 2 free with Arma 2 retail

Hi all, forgive me if im posting in the wrong area, thought there may be some tech gurus around who could answer this question for me. Im very new to Dayz and installed Arma 2 free then Operation Arrowhead then the Six Launcher etc n all that. I really want to see the game in all its HD glory so was wondering if its possible to simply uninstall Arma 2 free and replace it with Arma 2 retail so it looks all pretty or am i entering a world of problems?

Yes, would work without much trouble. Worst that can happen to you is that you'd need a full reinstall. Keep in mind though that this game is quite demanding of your PC, if you not got a very decent pc high settings is a nono.

Thanks for your replies, think my machine should be up to it, quad core, hd5770, 4gb etc, fingers crossed...

Mainly im worried about installing everything again cus i dont want to lose my dayz character and wondered if my arrowhead cd key would be affected?
